I am an organizer in the full sense of the word - I have experience with designing, facilitating and advertising events, I have started student groups, I have planned retreats, co-chaired committees and knocked on doors of my colleagues office's to get their signature for a cause. I have spearheaded some of these efforts and been directed in others thus gaining insight into all sides of teamwork. This work, almost strictly as a volunteer, taught me how to be flexible, quick on my feet, manage heavy time constraints, disagree productively and ultimately never think that it is useless to stand up for things I believe in.

In the last few years, my organizing work has mainly included two themes: graduate employee rights and diversity and inclusion advocacy in physics.
